Here is my latest...I just flashed my pro to the X800XT..only got 300 some points but im still working on it..its getting pretty hot even with my thermaltake extreme giant III on it...

Just got 6179 on 3dmark 05 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=64042
And got 30241 on 3dmark01 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8154174 Slight increases not too bad, need to hook up Vapochill on the FX-53 but im still nervous dointg it lol.
congras on those scores and I have comments:
flyersguy85's 26k reflects the winxp handicap and 2.52GHz cpu clocks. with my win2k and 2.62 I should be about 28k, 29k if I vmod my ram and get 260MHz out of my bh5. His sub 500fps in drag low just shows how bad 512k cache bottlenecks. when I ever get a high end video card, it wont be until I have a 1mb cache cpu for 3dmark and games :)
MarcDaddy has a bad overclocking x800xt but that does not matter except in nature of 3dmark and matters very little in games since a stock x800xt is more than enough anyway. his winxp costs him many hundred marks. With win 2k and with my help, I can easily get him to over 31k, maybe even 32k marks, PM me if you need help scoring higher
LOL!!! You and your 3DMarks!!!Quote:

Computer Maniac :)
Updated! But I'm a lil confused.....you underclock your card? Remember, Stock core/mem = the default speed of the card, Actual core/mem = overclocked speed.....didcha reverse the order? I took it as that.....:)Quote:

Flashed VIVO, he might have had to underclock a bit. Still an o/c from the card he bought's original clocks.Quote:

Here's mine, if you want to add it:
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=64149
I can just barely skeep it at stock speeds but i get lower scores than if i down clock it a bit...so much heat is produced even at stock speeds...but you have to remember that it is a flashed x800 pro. i get artifacts if i try to go any higher...
Thunderbird...are you saying that if i had win2K that i could get higher?
Can't....no '05 batabase yet, gotta wait for Vert to come up with the goods. ;) Don't ask me why......I only work here.:p :DQuote:

I can go ahead and answer that for him. You will definately do better in 3dm01 on W2K, and again even better with dx8.1. Of course setting up an OS like that really only makes it useful for benching 3dm01, but if you have a copy laying around and some extra disk space, why not? If you look at the top scores on the Orb, that is the config most top AMD rigs use. XP is better on Intels though.Quote:

well the problem is that i would love to do 03 but i can't get it stable...i have to loosen my timings to 3-3-3-8 to even get it started without it crashing..but then half way through the test it always crashes to the desktop...it never happens with 01...maybe ill turn down my cpu OC.
Here's a new score to put me in the top 5... expect me to move up a couple of notches as well. :D

Nice score kaotik. Are the P4 guys scared or can they really not keep up with the A64's? Top 8 on 01 are AMDs...nah jsut kidding...im about to do a little of 05 ..ill report back to you guys..i know you can't post anything yet though.
P4 cant keep up with A64 in 3DMark 2001, period. My cousin had his P4 at 3.84GHz and his 6800GT oc'd to Ultra levels, and he got around 22k in 3DMark with a fresh install. I got 24,600 at all stock speeds.Quote:

And congrats KaoTik! Good to see you back up in the ranks. :D
