Yeah, today I've had two seperate machines with Tinkers that took a while to send. It took half an hour to get a new WU too.
eveytime It trys to send, I won't be able to send. The server that its trying to send to, Standfords site says its reject. So it means nothing in and nothing out?
Are the tinkers the 400wu proteins? If so, I just finished one this morning and it is showing up on the individual stats for our team. Are you having the trouble on the rig in your sig? Is your internet connection okay?
I haven't had any probs sending back results. Still getting 250 frame WUs though. Maybe the system is holding back the big guys on purpose to give us little guys more time to catch up. :p

wow, I have been getting those 250WU's like crazy. I think all 3 of my rigs are on there 3rd or 4th consecutive 250wu proteins. Any one else finding this? I like the 400wu proteins. Oh well, I am within passing range BlueOval, watch out:D !!!

very offtopic, but how much bandwith does a wu use?
None other than the time to receive a new work unit and send a completed one, and both of these are minimal connection time. No connection is required during the processing. Simply open your task manager, and you will see no connection is made during the processing phase of completing a work unit.Quote:

yeah, I noticed. Looks like you turned off the games and went back to folding. I turned Folding off on my main rig for a couple of hours because I was working on a downloading program and didn't know if folding would cause problems. But I am back up strong with the folding.Quote:

So are you going to get that folding farm from jamesavery? That looked like a pretty nice deal and could seriously do some damage if you left it on 24/7. I might have to throw some more rigs to my arsenal to keep up. I was talking to a friend who works in a lab that said he was the admin on several top notch rigs and that he could have them fold for me... we'll see how that turns out. Looks like I am catching back up though;)
Have to finish a lab report. Then it's off to another Birthday party tonight!!! Won't have access to a computer though, so I can't type any drunken updates like last night.:D
