I have a little more that I can squeeze out of this rig. Once I get a better PSU I think I can push the HT a little more.
Also, I think I should be able to squeeze a little more out of the video card. It's artifacting, but not horribly yet.
I can't benchmark for a little while, though. I fubar'd windows and probably won't get it back on there until the 13th. . .
wow, got the vga silencer rev.3 installed. Core max at normal, warm, stuffy dorm room air went from about 425ish to 445ish. I think that's pretty good. :D

I have gotten 20552 before, but wouldn't submit because of "cpu variations". For some reason, tictac's d26 mantaray xt bios won't let me use a vcore of 1.9v or above, the computer just completely shuts down if i do it from within windows, and doesn't even boot if i do it through the bios....so I may have some troubles getting back to 2.7ghz+.Quote:

edit: part of it may be cpc off, but I don't think that's the whole story. And in other news, it appears to be affecting only 3d01, because my scores look pretty good in 3d03, 3d05 and aquamark.

3dmark 2003 and 2005 dont care for cpu power, well very little so your cpc off isnt having a noticable impact but its killing your 2001 scores. Turn it on and I bet even at like 200fsb its still gonna be faster. you never know till you try but im just saying what I saw one guy hit. Is your cpu a barton too? a 2.7GHz barton should match a 2.9GHz tbred but its matching mine at 2.3GHz, your missing a full 600MHz! turn cpc on, try 200x13.5=2.7GHz make sure your ram is in 1:1 dual channel at 2-2-2-5
yeah, it's a 2600+ mobile(barton). Can bench a tad over 2700mhz. Guess I'll check out the cpc on bioses and see what's what.
dual channel doesn't matter too much , i broke 23K on a single channel cpc on. i know you can get higher my athlon xp brother!:) check out my 20.5K score and see how my car high is still high even though its 200 mhz less cause of my fsb. you gotta get that fsb up

Fsb, fsb...always been my fsb.:o I don't know how to get higher. The darn thing posts at 246 now, maybe even higher, but only stable at 227 or less. I might be able to pull a "suicide" run at 230, but that's a bit risky. I don't know where I'm losing all this stability between 227 and 246. I guess I'll try a single stick once and see how that goes.

Ok, I'm gonna be getting my A64 system pretty soon and I was gonna get back into some 3DMarking action. Just had a quick question though, is it still recommended to use Win2K for AMDs? I'd prefer not to cause I like winxp pro more... In anycase this'll be my first time with any AMD at all so I'm looking forward to the times when I'll be slamming my head against the wall.:eek:
