I'm sure being a Ravens fan has nothing to do with it.Quote:

not even sure I'd choose hunting over this game, when it comes down to it the NFC is weak, it will probably be dallas in the superbowl... doesn't matter, whoever the NFC has in the big game is going to suck compared to the top 2 AFC teams, hell maybe even San Diego, it will be a lopsided game so this is even bigger than that....this IS the superbowl.... well, maybe when they meet in the afc championship.
Nope, up in mid/northern Ontario. I'm landing in d-town to visit my family on saturday before driving up on sunday though.Quote:

Anything that moves that's bigger than a squirrel. ;)Quote:

But seriously, if you shoot an Elk in Ontario you're going to prison, paying a massive fine, probably losing whatever car you drove to the hunting camp in, losing your gun, etc. They are all radio tagged and whatnot. Bad news.
But yeah, deer is the main game. If I see a moose I might take it but that is a massive pain in the *** to get out of the woods. Try dragging a 120lb deer through the woods and then imagine a half ton moose. Rough.
Dude, come on down to my town, we could use you! We've got major deer problems...Quote:

Our adjacent township is having such a problem with deer overcrowding its now legal to shoot them if they're on your property.
And the bucks are NOT scared of people or cars at all, to the point of being a real hazard.
Hahaha crazy! That's worth investing in a crossbow just for the "free" meat. Free after you pay a butcher to slice it all up for you. And buy a big freezer. lol.
And a crossbow just so you can take them down without alerting the whole neighborhood. ;)
***? are elk a national animal or something? I wanted to get some elk, I'm tired of eating steak and chicken...damn.
good luck on your hunt, kill some **** for me.... are you allowed to bring that stuff back on a plane?
I've basically stopped keeping up with them lately, though. Haven't really felt any attachment to them for most of this season.Quote:

Elk are just endangered in Ontario or something. I do believe you can shoot the hell out of them in the west, it's just an Ontario thing.Quote:

I never bring back steaks because they aren't prepared until after I leave, and they wouldn't really survive the unrefrigerated trip back to Cali, even if I did manage to smuggle them across the border.
haha deer slim jims, thats tight... have fun in the great white north, get wasted and kill some ****.
like ned and jimbo say in southpark
jim: theres some deer, quick thin out their numbers
ned: mmmmmmmmmmm we're environmentalists
