Finally, the Texans beat someone.
dolphins suck... they were the most overrated team at the beginning of the year.
::vomit ::vomit
someone kidnapped my team and replaced them with the Raiders. :( :o
Get well soon, Shaun and Jarramy.
Also, their pass rush specialist first round pick finally got his first sack.Quote:

Opened up a laceration above his eye that needed some 30 odd stictches. That's by far the most ****ed up thing ive seen in the NFL.
I didn't actually see a clip of what happened until much later, but I saw Gurode coming back into the stadium with the stitches on his head. Freaking terrible.Quote:

I cant believe the raiders choked as bad as they did, actualy i can, because its the raiders. But against the Browns...c'mon now.
Its so sad. The silver lining would be...."and with the 1st pick of the draft, the raiders pick Brady Quinn."Quote:

the guy that did that to Gurode's face should be suspended for the season and forfeit his pay for this year, his entire salary... and then put in jail for assault.
edit: just saw on ESPN that he only got a 5 game suspension without pay from the nfl, now what will the titans do, since they did say he would be punished regardless of what the nfl did....
That's not saying much, that was a really shallow draft for QBs. I think he was taken in the 3rd round, and he was the 5th QB overall; No QBs were even taken in the 2nd. I still kind of like Alex Smith, though, I think he'll be pretty good.Quote:

30 ****ing stitches and a 5 game suspension is adequate? guess the titans now plan to do nothing about the incident despite statements to the contrary when it happened.... no wonder the titans are the worst team in football - they run a tight ship.
Way to lose all credibility with your first sentence. Asshole.
I believe he just said if the NFL penalty wasn't big enough, they would then add on. In other words, their priority was with the punishment, not just getting their player back soon. 5 games is more than most people thought the league would give him. It's the longest on field disciplinary action in league history.Quote:

Yes, it was a terrible thing for Haynesworth to do, but it kind of falls along the attempted murder gets a lesser penalty than actual murder lines. There was not really much damage done. It's not like with Romanowski a few years back when he punched the guy and basically ended his career.Quote:

In the same way that stitches you can play with and a shattered face that ends a career are way different. Right or not, the outcome is really what matters most of the time.Quote:

Obviously Romo didn't intend to break the guys face and finish his career, but he did. It's especially bad since it was in practice. Romanowski DID (allegedly, anyway) rip the guys helmet off before he hit him. Throwing the kind of punch that can shatter a face isn't really an accident; I saw/was in enough fights in football practice through high school and college to know that. There are basically at least a couple fights a week (usually between linemen), and it is EXTREMELY rare for anyone to get hurt at all.Quote:
