do you think by installing directx 8.0 or 8.1 i would get those annoying 436 3dmarks?
By installing 8.1, should get you more points and also by using the Cat 3.2`s with it. But how many more points I don`t know.

Kappa2001, can you get a higher overclock on your video card memory, I thought the pro`s were suppose to come with it clocked at 340.

I have never heard of a 9800pro with 3.9ns memory, if you could would you post here what is written on your memory, also saying mikeysg is a bit lazy is a understatment.:DQuote:

it's a samsung memory and it says something in the memory like 319.
besides it is a revision 1.0...
btw, how do you uninstall directx 9?
i'd like to try directx 8 or 8.1

i'm searching for a memory similar to my current to do dcddr, and if i can't find it i'll buy a thermaltake aquarius 2 watercooling kit for 125€ (do you think it's a good price or good product?)

You should be able to hit 20k easy with your rig -- are you running DC right now or not? That'll help you some. Can you get more on your vid card clocks?
Go for it dude! I know once you get it in your mind to get 20k, you can't shake it till it's done!;) I almost gave up myself w/o Vertices encouragements - name calling and harsh language does motivate a person.:( Just kidding, the V man was very encouraging.:) BTW, I'm slipping into my lazy mode again, I can feel it!
