1. to strive for something implies putting effort into something and I sure as hell didn't :o
2. having a goal implies motivation or purpose, I have neither!:p

Reading all of this, i have come to realize that there is a whole other level to laziness above what i am....:eek: :p I have work to do, i mean....sleep....:D I need some lessons from mikeysg in laziness, but he'd probably be too lazy to teach, so there goes that idea.:o :DQuote:

Just to let you guys know, I'll be away from 12th - 22nd Nov cuz I've got stuff to attend to overseas - this would be the best time to run new benchmarks, cuz I'm not gonna be the one updating the score, YAY!:p :D I'd be sorely disappointed if you guys don't bench till I'm back, let C man do all the hard work now! I know i am....i wanna make another run on thursday maybe, when it's supposed to be only like 20F outside...I don't know if it's wise though to push again...I really need a higher fsb and 2600mhz benchie stable would be nice...should work on that this week...but i've got mikeysg syndrome.:DQuote:

I still think with some tweaking you should beat me. You have higher cpu clocks, vid card clocks about the same. Only thing is I have higher fsb, but single chan....
I do get the feeling my system is underperforming for any given clock. I don't know if xp is dirty or if i'm doing something wrong, but i just get that feeling. I defragment before benching....maybe some reg tweaks or something...:confused:Quote:
