Young team with talent that also happen to be lead by one of the all-time great QB's having a hell of a year. You also said "somehow GB"...I just listed that "somehow". Of course things happen during a season, but as of right now, there is nothing to put either dallas or green bay ahead of the other one...that's my basic gripe. My worry about GB is the safety's, the LB's are fine(Nick Barnett is going to be a PB'er), the line and corners are fine.Quote:

Again, there is zero reason to call Dallas "kings" of anything. Also, be very careful saying there is "no way" either team could beat another team, I point to the Pats first SB win, and my own Packers loss to Denver in SB XXXII as recent examples. Lastly, I wouldn't count on Favre slowing down too much...his numbers are pretty much the exact same as they've been his entire career...he's throwing more this year so his yardage totals have gone up. Look at how good Rich Ganon got once he got old enough to have "seen everything"...Favre was way better in his younger days, and now has also "seen everything". Injuries, the running game, or the safety's could be the downfall of this team, not Favre.Quote:

True, I didn't mean "no way" literally, as in 0% chance, I just mean that there is little chance they would beat them in my opinion. The reason I put Dallas ahead of Green Bay is because Dallas has a strong running game (GB doesn't) and I more willing to believe in Romo than Favre. Call me biased, but I just don't think a "gunslinger" like Favre can keep up his early success throughout the season. Take last week's game where he got a TD because two defenders both got their hands on the pass and should have intercepted it. He is too aggressive with his throws and I think that a good team will capitalize on his carelessness. Romo at least has a ground game to fall back on whereas good teams will load up against the pass for GB. I'm not saying the rift is huge, it's just that I would put the Cowboys a notch above Green Bay if I were to rank them.Quote:
