Here's first run with the new system in my sig. All stock settings, NO OC yet, stock vidcard coolers for now, waiting for a couple NV5 coolers to show up. Couldn't post in the orb for some reason. The 66.73 drivers won't run the CPU tests correctly, but the beta 71.20 drivers are fine. My prevous best run, OCed to the max on vidcard and CPU, with a single 6800 Ultra was 5120!

'01 and '03 comin', here's 05 score of 7468 after some initial OCin'. Still waiting on some vidcard coolers to show up! Still haven't figured out why it won't let me post to the ORB, hmmmmmmm....

Thanks! Don'cha just hate OCing in summer :D I luv winter; I just open the window in my PC room, put on longjohns, winter coat and gloves and start OCing like mad :D
I still haven't figured out why it won't let me post to the ORB; anyway, I've got to do another WinXP install, etc. on a new drive I want to install in that system and maybe the problem will just go away! :cool:

Nice to see some SLI here at Sharky's OS-W, I'm sure you'll get the driver issue sorted soon enough. Looking forward to seeing your final result with that setup. I want to take another stab at '05 with the Cat 4.12's, looks like you are going to put this well out of reach though. :D

well hopefully i won't have to worry about ambient temps with a cascade, but i live in CA in the winter anyway so it doesn't make much of a difference.

Which drivers are you using at the moment and do you have the latest version of '05?

newegg should send me Christmas presents!!!! I'm sure you'll be topdog on '05! I just did a fresh install on a new drive in that system and it will be awhile before I can do any benches. The NV5 vidcard coolers came in today but had to modify 'em - more on that later. Regards . . .

Oh yeah, no problem for the cascade!!! I'm using the 71.20 beta drivers (big improvements, better 3dmarks, and solved my CPU Test issue). I'm using 3dmark05 V110; isn't that the latest??? Haven't looked lately. Regards . . .

Thanks! And yes, I've tried most of the beta drivers including the "71".24s and the 71.20 xtreme G drivers. So far, the nVidia 71.20 beta drivers have been best.

bert_diggler, whats your gpu clocks? There is no way it can be stock with your 118.8fps nature, I get 113 with mine at stock 9700pro clocks. also your beating my drag low by 2fps and mine was 350/330 clocked for my 21k in my sig. what cat drivers is that? 4.12? I think I was using 4.10, have the 4.12 made this much of a difference in nature and drag low?


Nice sli score OZ, but how is the top score like 27k with the same sli but only slightly higher clocks? Did they use NULL cheats? 3dmark 2003 is full of NULL cheat scores, cant trust any of them anymore. I think 2005 has an anticheat to detect this. 2001 is too cpu limited to have any real benefits with null.

i think OS-WIZ is using 12 pipe 6800NU's and the top scores are on 16 pipe 6800U's.

my my gpu clock/mem speeds are stock. also running 4.12 drivers.

i could crank them up if you want and run again

Can you specify the exact model # and type of cooling used for your CPU and GPU? Also, 1gb of ram isn't specific enough....is it 1x1024mb or 2x512mb? I'd assume it's 2x512, but can't be 100% sure....these are specific specs that I'd need to know to do a proper job. ;)

My motherboard is a MSI 875P NEO-FISR, im using 2x512 ram slots in dual channel. My water cooling setup is a Swiftech H20-120 Rev.2 Cpu and Gpu water block setup. If theres anything else im missing let me know.

Shoot, dunno how I'd missed yours. :o Must be getting old, I hear the eyes are first to go ya know.:p I've updated your '01 score, nice bump in score btw. I haven't done anything about your '03 score till I see a link, OK? Also, could you provide more detail next time, like what others do when they post their specs and links. It helps me a lot and removes the guesswork on my part....;)
