I see a new #1 when he starts to put an OC on the video card. I am betting a little over 24K when all is said and done. Looks like I have my work cut out for me when i get my computer back :D :D
It might have to wait untill some better cooling can be had. The heat sink is not up to much OC'ing. I have a dalta that I am going to try on it, the fan is kind ov wimpy.Quote:

was your VC running at stock speeds when you got your latest score? If so, I don't see how you won't hit 24K when you OC the card. 2500 more points is well within the range for a good OC on a video card.
Something is wrong with his nature score... 130FPS is too low for an XT. I get that with my 9800 Pro!:confused:Quote:

More like stock speeds :D But it also depends on what drivers were used...

Looks like CPU power isn't useless in Nature. :D
Well it all leads one direction xDuck, we are going down. It's just a matter of when he feels like blowing us out of the water  :D
Yes and no - he could if he actually WANTED to, but it might not be as turnkey of an enterprise as I anticipated. :) While it is scaling reasonably well, I don't know if stock aircooling is up to the challenge (and you wouldn't want to risk all that brand new hardware anyway, right Thermo? :D).Quote:

I dont agree... Stock aircooling can easily blow away both your scores with a simple overclock from the card alone now :DQuote:

That's what I said... I'm just saying, perhaps Thermo doesn't want to risk a thermonuclear reaction (haven't you heard about that? it's an XT bug....... ;) ;) ;) :D).Quote:

Dude you're nuts if you don't think he's going to smoke us. After re-looking at his score and seeing the low nature score, I can be 100% sure he ran that bench with the VC stock. We all know that a good VC overclock is good for a couple of thousand points.
Just look at his lobby scores. In high he is already beating me by 10fps. If you look at all his scores accross the board he is only losing to me because of his VC. When he gets that thing going, break out the crying towel cause there is nothing we can do. I will be able to push my rig to about 24.5 with Vmods and the new mushkin ram, but after that I am out of tricks:(
I daresay it can go further than 24.5k... If you are willing to pump the vdimm (that fellow I know has been running 4.1v through his Corsair TwinX3200LL for 2 months, problem free :D  ), you could have some massive gains from 1:1/2-2-2-5. ;)Quote:

I am not going to risk blowing up $200 worth of ram. I bought it more for my upcoming purchase of the P4EE anyway. I will be happy with what I get from my current rig and then concentrate on putting up the big numbers with the EE :D :D
I hope you know the EE will be retailing for over $1,000 USD... :( And btw, I guarantee 3.6v and down will not blow up your RAM... ;) I cannot guarantee anything past that point :D, but there are countless stories of people who have run higher than that with no problems whatsoever. After 3.6v, you have breached the "safe" limit. :pQuote:
