I have been out of it for a while ,but am going to try and keep up
a reasonable production.
50K yeah!!
I think I'm the guy that produces more in all Mexico
WTG imayoda and freedonx. I'm still messing around with getting this farm up and running...

freedonX, congrats on the 50k!
2March, congrats on the 30k!
wish I could push out those numbers. My previously 24/7 rig has dropped even more recently. I'm lucky if I get 4/7. My new job has me working 10 hour days so I don't get home and get to turn on my computer until 6 or so. I then I go to bed early and have to shut it off early (since dad won't let me run it all night).
I'll keep doing what I can, though! And keep up the good work to everybody else! :)
Yeay, I just got 60K! I would have gotten it earlier, but one of my machines is doing something unusual so I need some insite. It's the Celeron 2.4ghz. It's currently at stock speed and the production went way down. About 3x less points per week, if not 4x.
I can't get the production back up I don't know whats wrong with it. It's been doing this for almost a month, just never had a chance to look into it. I tried putting in -verbosity 9 , which I read somewhere gives you more info as to what the program is doing. I also have advmethods running on it. Thanks.
not sure Ill find this again.. but I just joined up with the Sharky's Team number I have a 3meg down line and a 428up line so should be able to do something with that. My machine stays on like 18hrs a day so.. should be able to make a tiny dent in some folding...
so this is in general hardware/gen software/ okay hope can find this area again :D
Doesn't matter how fast your internet connection is, but rather how fast your cpu is.Quote:

Every cpu counts. Welcome!
I got it! All I had to do was add -forceasm and that took care of it. Now SSE is enabled, I also added the flag to the P4 1.8 machine because I noticed sometimes it doesn't have SSE enabled.Quote:

-forceasm is not necessary for Intel systems, only AMD systems. Some work units will automatically use SSE if available and some won't. Some of the work units will list using SSE in the log, some won't and some just say something to the effect "as available" or something similar.Quote:

I would think you system appearing to take longer is really just the luck of the draw for work units you received have lately. My production has also dropped the last few days because of work units I've received.
EDIT: based on the link below, now I wonder if it will help Intel systems. It's been posted many times it's not necessary to use this flag on Intel systems, however....
