I dont want to have another video card now... The 9800 is not upgrading from the 9700Pro unless its the DDRII flavor...

Otherwise its all wasted money.. Granted there have been a lot of wasted money with some of the upgrades I have done..

Hell, all of IT is wasted money! :D

BTY, how high did you get that other 9700 PRO. You might have taken over sapasion's #1 spot for VGA OC.

I got that 9700pro up to 479/371. It's funny that my 9800pro went to the exact same memory speed. I need to do a VDD mod. :)

Yes..it's .15

You got massive OCs by Voltmodding the GPU and adding water with peltier cooling.:)

ahh ok...but still does'nt make sense you could'nt get the 9700 to 500mz, and you can with your 9800... :D

Same way a C1 stepping Northwood OCs better than a B0 stepping even though they are both .13. Refinements in manufacturing processes.
