Seems normal to me. User enters data into table fields. But can not create new fields in the table. Most web linked db's work that way. Most likly is a mySQL db.
Well, I don't see why you would want to store predefined "classes" when you could just manually enter the string (or choose from a list of current ones, to save time). At exec time of the front end, it could group them together.Quote:

Much more flexible and scalable than having to add each type of class manually. ;)
