Has anyone run a project 1305 yet? It's worth 634 pts.
Quick question. I am still running version 4.00 on my main computer and all the rest. I can change the main one (A64) easily, but I don't know if I should. I don't want to have any problems with it and I really haven't ever upgraded folding before. I had heard originally that there were some problems with it, so I didn't. So basically should I change to the new version, and if so how should I go about it? I would prefer not to loose any info on it right now.
Thanks
Personally, I'm still running the 3.25 client and that is working just fine for me. I've had no problems at all. Mabye it is time for an upgrade, though. I might eventaully, but at least for the near future, I'm just sticking with that.
I have not seen that monster - may take 5 or 6 days to finish.Quote:

My friend keeps getting massive projects. Her smallest one was 4000 units!!!
it's not necessarily the units you should look at, but how many points its worth. Sometimes work units with a lot of frames take less time than wu's with a smaller amount of frames. The point amount of each one is a closer indication of how much work is going to go into crunching that wu.:)Quote:

I just happened to look at my score right now I saw that it is 133331. I don't know about you but I personally love seeing things like that happen.
Nice man, that's pretty funny.
And I've finally broken 20k! Bow down to my amazing one processor!
;) :p
I'm over 30k with one CPU. That that! :)Quote:

Now, if I could just get uncheap for a few minutes and order the parts for that guest/fileserver/backup rig I've been thinking about...
You pretty much match my output, you must have the p4 overclocked pretty good.:)Quote:

Hey I just noticed I was in the top 10 producers:)
Our overall production looks like it's still slipping, we need our top guys to keep up the production, but we still need more members that cna fold on any rig they can get their hands on!
we need to come up with some ideas to get more people to join.Quote:

Maybe a contest for the people who join by xx/xx/04. It can be a race to like 1000 point or something:confused:Quote:

Just tossing out some ideas, since we need the lower end of the scoreboard to start upping production.
yeah, I really think we need to get the mods and even Cat behind this as a unified, official, sharky forums team. Maybe get to have a special title or another av or something. Maybe set-up a paypal account between the competitors and whoever wins receives the amount of the account.Quote:

But we need something to happen in order to make any progress.
It's sitting at ~2.8 GHz right now. It used to be at 3.1, but several months ago I backed off so I could run my memory at 1:1.Quote:
