hell, my cpu was only at 2.5...
I know it can do 2.7, and that was on a crappy asus board... no telling what the dfi has in store for it...

i just had an accident at my school playing soccer so i won't be able to vmod my graphic card and vdroop my motherboard but do you think i can get the extra 500 points to get over your score with that? (plus watercooling on the gpu :D)Quote:

EDIT: i also discovered that my asus motherboard has the chipset over 40ºC @ idle :eek: so i'll add a 40mm fan to the default asus dissipator in hope of increased stability :D
guys i did it... just broke my personal goal of 30k:D
its been awhile since i felt really accomplished... sadly this 30k doesnt make me feel as great as i wished... it was to easy to get, only took 1 or 2 hours of tweaking. But oh well..
puts me right up at 3rd place:D.

you'll have a decent shot once you raise you gpu clocks to around ~490 and pump up the ram. you'll definatley need vmods and once you flash to XT bios and raise your clocks you should be able to beat me. I'm out of the 3dmark scene since i've been playin rose online :pQuote:

I felt really happy when i got past 20k, then i though: " hey i'm only 500points away from 21..." and i broke 21k.
The story repeated itself for 22k :p
Well i got a san diego coming soon, so 31k will be disapointing, as for now im gonna hang up the benching drive and get my 24/7 setup going again... using my parents computer really bothers me.Quote:

Well, I've been considering this for some time, and with a new influx of hardware coming my way soon, I feel this is the time to make a change. For quite a while, I've been running 3dmark under the SharkyExtreme name. I started out with about 10k on a 9100 and was pretty close to last place. Through a lot of learning, mostly at this site, I managed to climb to the top of the ranks on more than one occaision, but you may have noticed that it has been several months since I've posted an update, and since posting that score I have yet to be bumped.
Sharky is a great community filled with helpul people, and I've had a great time here, but the time has come for me to move on. As of right now, I'm stepping down from my #2 spot on the team, so if mikeysg or vertices would be so kind as to delete my entry in the database, I'd appreciate it. It's time for some new guys to have a chance at making their mark.
I'll be sure to check in here from time to time and see how things are going. I hope the team continues to grow and thrive, and I'll see all of you around. Keep up the good work.

i'd rather not spend all that time into benching on air when the only person i can own is tbird =( because no one else has an 9800 anymore:(
