Ordered a 3700+ san diego ;) Any s939 w/AGP recommendations? I'm stretching it with the CPU/MB upgrade. Don't want to have to replace the VC at the moment. My only justification is it should cost me less than $150 after I sell off what I have. Plus I get to use DC again (probably with better timings and clocks).

Today i'll buy better case fans and the material needed to do the vmods :).Quote:

If my card doesn't die i'll probably beat your 01 score and maybe your 03 with a bit of luck.
Sorry to see you go eshbach, you were really helpful to the community here. GL
Try the epox board man... i hear its very nice, easy to do vmods on...Quote:

Or if selling my board to my friend falls through you could buy my gigabyte k8nsultra.
Esh, laeving only 53 posts away from custom avatar?
How would a Sapphire ATI Radeon X800Pro PCIe be? Do the extra pipes usually open?Quote:

Oh, thought you were talking about agp mobo's... i dont really know much about the x800pro's, but if you wanna take a top spot on the team you will need more firepower than that.Quote:

I wondered why you were selling your barton and prometeia and I see why now. your upgrading to a 3000+ Venice which on air would crush your barton on phase change! This might finally be your chance to beat my 9500....9700 score! You probably wont touch my 26.7k score I got with my 9800p and winny which ive since sold.
x850xt? I'm just playing with the idea of selling the 6800GT and getting something with a PCIe board. The Nvidia cards seem way overpriced for PCIe. Plus there is no way of getting my screen to run full resolution with Nvidia's drivers. ATI at least gives you an option to disable DDC.Quote:

Its also in the 3dmark team but once my venice comes and I bench it with my softmodded 9500, this 9800p score is getting removed. I am going back to the 9500 category and frankly my 3dmark 2001 beats yours. Lets not argue about games, I still beat you in 2001 ;)
LOL! You are talking about beating my score that is over 2 years old?Quote:

Well why dont you beat my score back? hmmmm? ;)
It would be to easy, I can probably beat that easily with my stock x850XT ;)Quote:

It would be fun to see Colossus Versus Tbird :)
My vote goes for tbird
[this would be a friendly competition of course, no chat, only results :D]
Ouch.. So you would pick him when I can probably benchmark with over 200Mhz on the CPU....Quote:

Interesting.. It wouldnt be that hard to beat.. I can score just about 23k with 100% stock setup.. So I wouldnt only need to makeup 3K which would be quite simple :D
good job tbird it took you about 6 months but you finally beat my 2600+/9800 pro combo
Nobody take #2 before I do ;) I'm really leaning towards PCIe and trading off for a X850XT to go with the San Diego. Mikead_99 looks safe since I don't have -C cooling. I'm due for a decent OC. Hopefully I can hit 2.8-2.9 on my WC setup. I've not had a decent overclocking chip for 3 cycles (1.6a).
Eric
'01 is one thing, but games are another. I'm more than willing to bet that the C man can do high res/eye candy in FC, can yours do the same? Sure, you said not to mention games, but games' where it's at for me. I'm hoping that FM's next benchmark's more balanced like '01, except that it game tests have full DX9 features. '01's great and all except it's for DX8 gen cards, but I wanna see a benchmark that stresses the entire system, like '01, but has DX9 gfx like '05. Man, that benchmark suite's gonna kill all our rigs.:eek:Quote:

yea even at 2GHz I still beat you ;) If you want any chance of beating me again, youll need a Venice clocked 200MHz higher than me to make up for your winblows xp and less experience than me. Youd need 2.8GHz on the Venice to match my 2.6GHz winny score.
If colossus still has a 9800p he is welcome to challenge me, if not he can still challenge me. He would probably beat me by a little with his x850xt. He mentioned 23k at stock, I actually beat his stock setup by 500 marks with 200MHz less cpu clocks but 85MHz higher fsb. I think the C man can get about 28k with his winny and x850xt :)
ok, I've got some scores in, and was wondering if they can be added.
3DMark03 and 3DMark05 are in my rig, and system specs are also in my sig...

LOL! There is no way you are beating my score at stock with your setup at stock...Quote:

Stop comparing stock vs overclock, only idiots do that ;)
Also if I choice to benchmark with the 9800Pro or a x800XT that I own. I should be able to break 30k with my x800XT. That is NOT beating your score by a little!
Usually crap I see?
I'll gladly add all your scores in, just post your system spec, OCs and whatnot...the usual stuff, and I'll insert/update your scores. ;) IF any of these scores are new, say, you '5's score is new, please let me know, then I'll simply insert a new score...instead of updating and finding that you don't have have an '05 score in the first place. It spares me a lotta hard work (like a few additional keystrokes :p ):DQuote:
