29s should be doable. With the SSE version probably closer to 26s. I still have quite a bit of potential left. My time was 30.122 for 2.75Ghz (1.5v). At 2.7Ghz prime ran 1hr 40 minutes before stopping. It was upped to 2.75Ghz with the same vcore and I'm running a burn-in while I'm gone (trying Sen's burn-in). Its amazing though that it still stayed 31-32C load with a 550Mhz OC and .1v jump in vcore! During the weekend I'm going for max OC off of 1.6v. Thats as far as I plan on taking it. BTW 2.7Ghz 2k1 without touching GPU/GPUmem is 29128. Its just that I had to run each test 1 by 1 to prevent overheating and locking up.Quote:

was that 01 run tweaked? i think you might be able to pull 30k off
The OS and memory is semi tweaked. I did not touch much yet for video. I'm just wanting it stable for now :) Also I can probably pull off at least another 100Mhz CPU. That will put me at 2.85 or 2.9Ghz unless I'm really lucky when I bump the vcore up to 1.6v.Quote:

Still looks kinda high but at least its low enough to be stable. I want to put it on water after I verify its all good.

Whats over there? Phase change and dual 6800Ultra's? I'll update with over 32k sometime this weekend :) I'm going to see if PNY will send me a PCIe 6800GT when I RMA my AGP one. This card seems ok for older stuff but my first run in 2k3 gave me like 1000 points less with a lot faster system. It did give me a CPU score of like 1450! Plus the GT could possibly pull off 34k for me :cool:Quote:

Edit: That score actually now looks better now that I think about it. The 28200 was in 2000 and *might* have had the LOD hack applied. This 31120 score is in XP with no hacks whatsoever.
Nice one ewitte! If you have win2k you may break 32k easy. Why sidegrade your x800xl to a 6800gt? There equal depending what you run

Actually for higher level stuff it comes up short compared to my AGP 6800GT. Only slightly higher in Pixel Shaders. My 6800GT @ Ultra clocks were probably closer to the X800XT. I'm hoping they will RMA it for a PCIe version so it can go in this PC. Some load temps for everyone 2.81Ghz @ 1.6v (I really wish I knew what PWMIC was!) :)Quote:

How you gonna managae that one with drivers and all.
I have no idea and am not going to even try it. Just curious. I'd assume they would at least have to be both made by the same companay. Such as a X300 and X850XT would probably be fine as they would mainly use the same drivers.Quote:

I beat you in every test and come close in nature and my cpu is only 100MHz faster with dual channel. If this is any indication, I am not upgrading my gpu for a VERY long time. I know I retired from 3dmark but there just isnt any real performance gains with a faster gpu. You were getting almost the same score back on your 9800p and you had a slower a64 too. Your new gpu only helped you a little in nature, your cpu did the rest
