Ya I was thinking about that yesterday... which got me thinking about the Bucs. Raiders and Bucs... kind of pirate-like teams. Makes me wonder why there isn't a Ninja team so we could watch some good ol' Ninja v. Pirate action and see which is REALLY better.

Though conditions in Dallas would seemingly favor the pass-happy packers more than the more balanced cowboys attack. Awful weather would force the packers to rely on their shaky ground game more, not exactly a huge benefit. Just something interesting to consider.Quote:

Why do people still say the Pack have a bad ground game? Yeah it wasnt that great the first like 7 weeks, but since then Grant is something like the best RB in the league in yards and like 4th in the past 5 weeks (something like that, dont get on my *** if my stats arent dead on).Quote:

I'm more worried about their consistency. They have looked good of late, including 100+ games against one of the best run defenses (MIN) and a pretty good one (Dallas). However, this team's greatest strengths, to me, appear to be their passing game and a great defense. Sloppy conditions could mitigate their strength in the passing game. It's not a death blow or anything, just detracts from their biggest strength.Quote:

I'm somewhat torn, since the the Edgerrin is going against a weaker run defense than Steven Jackson, but Jackson is a better back. As of now, I'm an 18 point favorite, but the lineups can change before Thursday. The last time I played this guy, he won by a single point when Jennings caught that 60+ yard TD pass in overtime on Monday Night.
The bucs basically stole the Raider logo. And the coach. :)

I swear to god you must just take a peek at espn.com or something when you post this stuff, because there is no way it is from actually watching the games. If this was week 1-7 your posts would make sense, but since then not only has their running game improved, it's become pretty consistant(Grant has 4 100 yard games in the past 7). You also must not pay attention to the type of runner grant is...he runs straight ahead without relying on cuts and slashes. Green Bay weather HELPS this type of running back. Green Bay's passing attack is also primarily based on the short passing game, weather doesn't hamper it too much. Good call on that Favre's season is a fluke and he probably wouldn't keep it up prediction too.Quote:
