I felt bad when he lost out to Brady, since he lost the job while injured. I felt a little bad when he was run out of Buffalo, but you have to move on to the young guy sometime, and they drafted Losman pretty high. I don't feel particularly bad for him now, since he's the one that was underperforming. Even in years that he has had a good line in the past, he was still known to make the big mistakes, and I just don't see that changing.Quote:

One reason their pass D is so good statistically could be because they are usually losing so bad that the other team doesn't NEED to pass. That's one reason the Cardinals led the league in passing yards last year; they're behind so often, they need to throw more than other teams do.Quote:

I think your giving the Raiders too much credit...remember, the Broncos did play them 3 weeks ago as well and beat them (barely). Yes, we will cry for Cutler DURING the game if Plummer throws 2, 3 picks and makes bad passes all game, but we wont cry for Cutler the day after the game, because us Bronco fans are quite a bit more humble than you might expect.
It's well documented why the raiders have the #1 pass defense and it isn't because of talent. I live in the bay area and have been a raiders fan (which is actually quite embarrassing) forever. They go beyond stink. I'd be willing to bet a large sum of money that if the broncos are down by 6 points w/ 40secs to go w/ the ball on their own 5 yardline, they'd be able to march right down the field and score a td...yes even w/ Puker...er Plummer. Their defense overall isn't that bad, but nowhere near being #1 in pass like the stats would suggest.Quote:
