Just to add something on the why T-Bird isn't here question, quite simply (according to him) he has been banned. There will be no more T-bird here, as the mods have sent him packing. Good or bad you decide, just wanted to let ya know.

Just to stay on topic, isn't anyone benching any more? Better make use of me 'cause I'll be away from 11-13 Dec - biz trip to BKK, then from 21-29Dec, holiday in ShangHai.:) History in the making here ppl, I'm ACTUALLY asking for more benchmarks - believe me, THIS is a once in a lifetime event.:p

ok, posting in this thread for advice instead of xtremesystems because i think they're getting annoyed with all my questions.
should i get the a64 3200 now or keep waiting for the 3400? i was counting on the 3400 to come out yesterday, but it didn't, so now i don't know what to do. with respect to 3dmark, do you think the 3400 will be much better or just the same thing with an 11 multiplier?
If you can't wait get it now, if you can then wait since 3200+ doesn't cost that much anymore (compared to before)
I honestly believe that the A64 is not worth the purchase until the new socket is released :) And/Or the bugs are fixed.. Since I prefer the nvidia chipset over VIA.. And the nvidia chipset is very buggy!
