I am only guessing it wont be out.. My major vendor doesnt have anything over the 3200... So I dont believe it will be out in the next 2-3 weeks.. And when it is launched, and the ability to find a location that would have it in stock.. PLUS it would probably be near $1000 :D Might make it hard to even located until later in 2004 :)

well, part of me hopes your right, since if you are i have space in my budget for a new dvd-burner. i don't think it would be a $1000 chip though, since the fx-51 is the same clockspeed and it's only $750. i've seen it on e-micron x at $499 retail but it was "back order".

NO WAY! I bet that is just the A64... It is impossible that everyone is selling the FX-51 3200 for over $700 and some small company has it for $500.. I bet it is just the standard A64 with a typo :)

But It will be over $750, and its only $250 shy from $1000.. So it will be more then that.. Maybe 950 :D

no no, sorry, i should have been more clear. it was not the FX-51 that was $500, but rather the a64 3400. link

wow...some nice competition is going on with the ti4200 class! sweet! 'bout time i got working on that...umm...yeah...like a said 6 months ago...'bout time to work on that...;)

oh, Psycho Evangelion...just a suggestion, you can make it stop just after the "Game Performance" tests and then get a result. you don't need to do all the rest of the tests to get a score (this just speeds things up a little bit).

First of all, we have discussed my financial situation and you know that I am well off. As far as net worth, I would estimate that I am worth more than you.

Second, ANYBODY (well, almost anybody) could scrounge up (or loan) a few thousand to buy an A64 rig and killer cooling. Nobody cares about what you or I "could do if we wanted to".

I, too, own real estate, and a significant portion of it. I would assume that you are mortaging the hosue you "own", and therefore you actually own a very small portion of it (in the sixth digits). Of course, IF you own your entire house in it's entirety (and it's of fairly large value), then yes you are likely worth more than me.

I saw the A64 3000+ (same speed, half cache) today for 235ish, I wonder if that'll be able to have its cache enabled to be a 3200+

Why don't you just wait a lil bit esch? In the meantime you can kill off your current system with voltmods and whatnot, then if you *do* kill it off (which I have a gut feeling I will this weekend), then buy it immediately ;)

already made plans to sell it, so i can't kill it or do any more modding. he might even want me to take off my southbridge cooling, which will be a pain since i mixed crazy glue and thermaltake compound to put it on, and it's on pretty well..

edit: you just don't want me to get A64 because you know i'll be owning your scores... ha, when you moved above me on the team after getting water cooling, i vowed i would one day rise above you again... unfortunantly my 8rda sucks.
