We can measure WU's and Points very easily we cannot measure your piece of mind however. If you're more comfortable at say 2.4Ghz and 1.9vcore than by all means drop down; afterall that's only a 4-5% difference. I am fairly certain you'd be OK at 2.5 and 2 but whatever makes you happy. 24/7 Folding is very taxing so you might need to back down anyway.

There is a great sense of pride and unity isn't there. That's the main reason Catalyst gave the OK. Anyway, our output the past 7 days is greater than 16 top 100 teams; and we're still not at full strength yet. We'll crack that top 1K in about 12 hours methinks and then do a Helms Deep on the top 250. Conquer On

speedy, seeing as your going 24/7 to insure I don`t pass you, then schultz will have to go 24/7 also to keep up with us.;) :)

i know, i thought about that, and that's the other reason for going 24/7. I'm probably going to go to 2.4ghz(currently at 11.5x200, my dailing running speed) very soon too. :D

I have been running mine at 2.4ghz(12x200)@1.85v`s and have not had no problems so far.

Your extra onboard cache, should give you a little bit of a advantage over my T-Bred, but we shall see. :D BTW, I hope to free up my main rig after the first of the year, when I get two more computers up and running 24/7.;)

Heck, if my temps stay this low, i might just go to 2.5ghz...i have my thermal probe shoved under the heatsink somewhere...it's only at 38.5C(2.4ghz, 1.94vcore) right now, 12 above ambient....so i might just think about that...;) :D

Okay, I can change the team number. And definitely send me a PM about the SSE. I had no idea the program supported it, and usually those that do, do so automatically, so I definitely don't have that enabled.

It should help out the old P3 rig quite a bit.

Folding will automatically use SSE on any Intel cpu that has it, so that P3 isn't going to fly. To use SSE with an AMD cpu that supports it you must DL the beta 3.25. Make a shortcut of the 3.25 and place it in your startup folder; in the target add advmethods and forceasm flags so it looks like this.

After these flags are added its probably a good idea to quit the client so you'll wanna wait to you finish your current WU. Delete any Cores in the Folding@Home folder and reboot the machine. When you restart the 3.25beta will start with fresh cores and SSE always enabled.
advmethods requests Gromacs WU's which take advantage of SSE and offer more points over time than the Tinker WU's. forceasm in 3.25beta enables SSE always.
