You'll notice the subtle difference in my desktop is merely that the start menu is where it belongs, since every other windows program keeps all the important stuff at the top...why not the desktop too? And seeing the there was at least one other Floyd desktop here...someone will appreciate the picture...

Bugspop, what's the name of the software you use to customize your desktop? I like the weather report, transparent calendar, and toolbar style.
I use a variety. Window Blinds for the Appearance (taskbar, Start Menu, Toolbar etc...). Rainlendar for the Calendar.
Konfabulator for the Weather & Digital Clock and a few others. I also use Bootskins from StarDock and Starskins from Rocket Division for skins while booting.

@ the height of interweb flounder I came across this pic of some german model while searching google under "a" for no particular reason. I liked it so I photoshopped it and made it into my desktop. I also have created the illusion I actually use coolbeans on on a regular basis and always have winamp running. I have the wallpaper in grey-scale too if you want to see it and in 7 diff variations of the same pic!

I've got to admit, I don't keep wallpapers on for very long though. There are only about 2 that I can tolerate on my desktop for a long time but most of the time it's just a black screen.Quote:
