I must be comparing overclocked to stock then. His 2k5 score was like 7800 and I've seen 6800's over 7000. Thats not that much IMO. Also even in 2k1 only 260fps in nature?Quote:

It was until I OC'ed my CPU, I was pretty CPU limited in 2K5 with only 1800MHz...now Im getting just over 8200 with my setup.Quote:

:) What's up everyone? Jeez this thread is massive.
You created a monster!

This thread actualy takes along time to load for me
kinda funny.
At over 7,000 replies it's not exactly a small thread...
John
Colosus and mikey each have about 800 in just this thread.
No not SLI. I've seen tons over 7000. Here is one at 7500. Personally if I had my old 6800GT I'd be getting at least 6400-6500 right now. However people were getting way over my VC overclocks with thier Ultras. I'm getting over 6000 now with a X800XL and the XT-PE's clocks kill mine. Personally I'd want at least 9000-10000 points for a next gen card.Quote:

Well youll get 9000-10000 on the next gen card(7800gtx) if you overclock it like your talking about overclocking those 6800's
I'm not gaming too much right now. I'll think about it when I can get a card for less than $400 that can get at least 15,000 stock.
Happy Birthday Rabidmoose171 ! :D

ah yes i forgot today was your bday, i just got back from staten island so here is a slightly late happy bday
Thanks ben.
Sex-Machine. I believe because the 3dmark ones are more gaminig oriented, while the others are more totaly computer related including harddrives and such and such. Most people just dont care about those quiet as much. 3dmark is just more universaly accepted.
Superpi competition would be cool too though.
Ah well... I don't know, any competition is welcome by me to be honest. This is a hardware forum, and it would be nice if we could have more hardware related competitions as well. But it ain't up to me to decide so, yeah. Bring up the good 3DMark scores! :)Quote:

You could always start a new thread, "Post your PCmark scores here!"Quote:

Just add PCMark there amongst the 3Dmark scores. But I don't know whether Mike or vertices would agree to this.Quote:
