Well, we posted a section in our Athlon XP Overclocking Guide that deals with a kit-based joining of the L1 bridges. It would certainly be a great place to start:

Intel only has FSB OCing and you can't unlock the multiplier at all....at least with AMD you can unlock the mult
didn't work...:(...guess there's something not connected. So I'm gonna try again in about 30 minutes.

Btw, did it post or did any of the multiplyers work. I can verify real quick with this link which bridges are not connected. :)
Don't give up...it took me two tries to get my 1900+ fully unlocked.Quote:

It's been a long day...night all ;)
Just a few more minutes and hopefully everything has dried up and it will be unlocked. :)
well lets see...11, 12, and 13 multipliers said that I was running a 1700+, and the 14 multiplier make it into a 654 or something like that. It booted like that and WCPUID said that it was a 5.0x multiplier. Everytime I try to boot it, it beeps twice before going to the vid screen, and then an additional time after than. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Does it look anything like this:
KJY9's unlocked 1900+:

it pretty much looks (looked...as I started over) exactly like that. So I'm not sure what the problem is...maybe I didn't get the nail polish on correctly. Its driving me insane though. Don't know what to do if this doesn't work...I'm redoing the connection part.
damn...1:30 AM now...still trying to get it working correctly. Freakin annoying is what this is...but I hope it works this time.
well this didn't go quite according to plan. I've got it all done, but if I try to just use the standard failsafe setup on my mobo, it recognizes the proccy as a 1700+, when its really an 1800+. In order for it to run at 1800+ speeds, I have to OC the FSB and change the multiplier down to either 10 or 10.5, can't remember which at the moment. None of the bridges are touching each other...not even close. The mobo also beeps twice before it brings up the AGP display, used to only beep once, and then it beeps again right before it brings up the startup for the computer. Does anyone have any suggestions for me. I'd greatly appriciate them.
Don't you want to up the FSB and lower the multiplier? I thought that was the most preferable way.
