Time for a New CD-RW Drive? Which One?

I cant understand how you get 2:25 either. That would make your drive almost 50% faster than my 32x Liteon which takes 3:30 @ 32x.

Maybe its the quality of the media in question, as I have calculated that at a constant 40x (not that any CD drive does that) would take about 2 minutes to complete 700Mb. I also calculated it should take a 32x burner at a constant 32x 2:30.

However, we all know they dont burn at a constant speed, but still, there should only be around 30 seconds between it.

I am puzzled! :confused:

For the money , value , quality ( SD2 killer ;)) nothing cant' beat or even aproach LITEON .

lite-ons are cheap and quite reliabe. tdks cuz they're good, and they're okay priced.
