i've been wanting to get an Afterburner for mine, but i just cant seem to make up my mind between getting that+getting it installed, getting a flash transfer dealie so i can play roms on my gba, or getting an X-Arcade... then again, the fact that i dont have any cash to spare is reason enough not to get any of these things
rpgs - I recommend all squaresoft titles except secret of evermore (all titles you can get), mario rpg, earthbound :D, zelda,
super - super mario world YEA, super metriod, super punchout
starfox, lufia, breath of fire,
too many to list..

Final Fantasy 2
Final Fantasy 3/6
Super Mario Kart
Secret of Mana
Legend of Zelda LttP
thats all you need
although its gonna be tough to find a couple of those rare gems (i sold my chrono trigger pak for $80 on ebay a year ago !)
Flashback is an awesome game, but its no way like an RPG. Its a story driven platform game. Another good game for the SNES is Out of this World. Simular to Flashback, but twice as good. To bad Sega got the sequel.Quote:

EDIT: Get Mario Allstars! The 8bit mario remakes are awesome on the 16 bit SNES. Along with the above mention games, Mario Allstars is my fav. cart. Never get tired of Mario :D

Same developer I think, but the games stories were not related. Did you ever get the Out of this world CD set for the Sega Gen? Awesome set that came with Out of this World 1 and 2.

no, i never got that, i stuck with Double Switch (?) which was the followup to Night Trap...ahh..i should pull out that Sega CD just for some Sewer Shark laughs..

Long live roms AND EMULATORS.
I love Popeye and Pengo arcade roms on the mame emulator.. I used to play those games for hours in the arcades about 17 years ago. I could be totally legal and buy huge arcade machines couldn't I? No I don't think so...
