Dude, screw DNF, I want TF2!!! I've read and seen everything out there on it, even movies of the engine but nothing in last year or so! so frustrating.
BTW, max payne had many things that made it unique when it came out. The graphic novel alone made it worth playing. The game had style , I've yet to see another game quite like it. Engrossing plot, scripting, everything was slick. It raised my expectations for games.

I'm still waiting for DNF, I will wait for it till I die. I just kind of hope it comes out before they transfer me to Iraq (Navy).
I'm sorry guys but yes I put the quote in my sig, it's just too good. Anyways I too have been waiting for this game, hell it reminds of when I was waitng for BFP(Bid For Power)which is a Quake3 MOD, in the end they had to change everything because they used DBZ Chars in the game and didnt get permossion.... Ohh well, if DNF ever comes out let me know..
just a suggestion, but you might want to do something like:
DNF: "This is the game I'm going to be telling my grandkids about waiting for -- and then they're going to tell me, 'Yeah, we know. So are we!'"
so that people know which game you're talking about ;)
of course, i'm sure that if you asked joe smoe on the street what is the #1 game in vaporware right now, they'd say DNF ;)
True but this can apply to many games: DNF, Warcraft III, Bid For Power, and I'm sure World of Warcraft will soon be added to the list. Although Warcraft III and Bid For Power (sort of) did come out, They're off the list now..:DQuote:

yeah, i dont have high hopes for WoW coming out in this millenia... at least blizzard isnt doing starcraft:ghost. i definitely want to play that this century :D
I'm actually really looking forward to Starcraft Ghost. If they do it right (ie: not let it suck with crappy controls and boring levels, and some cool SKs are essential!) it will OWN!!

i just hope they do a good job on the gamecube port. i dont have high hopes for the ps2, and until xbox comes out with some games i like, i dont plan on buying one since i've already spent close to a grand this year on consoles and games...
This is just my humble opinion, but arent there already enough TPS out?? Do we REALLY need another?
