Don't know if you messed some numbers up there, but do you mean to tell me that your computer went from 4F to 22C??? That is a serious jump in temperature, I just wanna make sure you had your numbers right.;) Also, I don't think Pyro would run that all the time Blue Oval.;) Only for benching purposes.:)Quote:

When I stated idle, I meant at stock speeds/voltages. So at 2.53ghz it was arould 4F. Full load meant maximum OC with heightened voltages 3249mhz 1.82v. Sorry about that.Quote:

It works quite well for max 3mdarking...only. These temps were better than my current watercooling temps which had cost me around $300 to build. For those air temps I didn't spend a dime.
Is there any batch file (per se) that allows you to transform your XP services into one of the aforsaid variations? (like Gaming for example)
Enabling and disabling all those services one by one manually, is no fun.
Also HOW MUCH gaming performance would I gain by turning my XP system into a "Gaming" profile?

I believe you can. I don't have any links of hand though I remember seeing afew guides on how to do so.

Hardly squat, this tweak is purely for 3dmark purposes.
Black Viper's site has one I think. Allows you to transform them into several different versions, Gaming among them.Quote:

Has anyone tried this gaming services tweak and its effects on a system and online gaming? with my specs down below i could use all the help i could get lmao.
I didn't do it ala the patch, but I did go through all my services per the site's instructions. I have close to 50% less running processes now and my system is quite a bit quicker overall. :D
Not to mention all the memory you saved from disabling all the extra bloated services :)

Also, here's a stupid question, how do you completely disable AA and Anisotropic filtering? I don't see any tab to disable it, only can click on "Application preference", is that the same thing pretty much?
You, turn off AA/AF, by moving the performance slider all the way to the left in the Direct 3D section of the ATI control panel.Quote:
