You're right. I probably won't buy one the second they hit the shelves. I'll wait and see what they can do, then sell my 9800 and pick up a 256 meg. It's easier to stay on top when you have top of the line stuff to sell.:)

Yeah, the only reason I asked for, and got, $325 for it was because it OCed so good. That card did 440/371 with only water and no pelt and no Vmods. That was a damn fine 9700pro.Quote:

21 and its just a little something to brag about I guess. and naturally, high 3dmark scores translate into high game scores. I could be looking at a 30" plasma LCD with like 4k by 3k resolution and getting like 300fps on the latest games in 10 years LOL, just dreaming right now, so no flames plz.

wouldnt be supprised, but let me tell you, will you get one if its clocked the same as the 128mb? If yes, itll probably score the same too. we shall soon find out, but speculation has it around 400/900(!)

no kidding. you were right when both used the same ram anyway. the core on the 9800 is better though. anyway I didnt hijack any threads, I was talking on topic pertaining to this thread. again congras on the score! :cool: :D
