I honestly don't see what purpose it serves. A CDKey alone (for online play anyway) stops any pirates from actually being able to use the game online. just about everybody knows how to find ways around it anyway, so it's not like it actually works. I wish these game companies would just give up on it.

CloneCD and DAEMON Tools. Voila, problem fixed.
Considering that I don't play many games on my PC, space isn't a huge problem.
I had to use the 'no CD crack' with Delta Force Black Hawk Down, because the CD wouldn't consistantly be read when I tried to start the game everytime. The game would only find the CD about 1 out of every 8 attempts.
