It may very well be the case for the normal 8500s, but I doubt the crippled versions (AiW DV, LE, etc.) will be better. I guess we'll see when HL2 is released.Quote:

Well, I suppose I could of upgraded to a new video card a few months back but deceided on a new car, big screen TV, fridge and other assorted things. I guess since I'm married with kids certain things have to take priority. No matter, I'll just see how it goes and, if needed, upgrade to a 9700pro or thereabouts. I think that should handle it ok.

A R9800np isn't too tough on the wallet and even a R9600 Pro would give pretty good performance.
