Nintendo consoles never got the best sport support, Genesis had more sport titles than SNES back in the days for example.

Speaking of sega, their xbox support dropped major time in 2003 and beyond, that should be more significant than sport titles, especially when gamecube has EA sports anyway.

And WHAT multiplatform title is better on PS2 than gamecube?

Anyway, there will always be peoples that ***** no matter what you serve them, its true for ps2, xbox and pc. So far in this thread, gamecube owners seems satisfied, you're just the odd one ;)

After 5 years of searching, I final found one of those drinking birds(it was before you could find everything on the internet). The bird only drinks when there is water in the cup! I had mine going for 24 hours before I stopped it.

Farmer_BOB, I got off my lazy *** and tried my Madden 2003 game. It played I whole game with no problems. I am glad it is not broken :)
i just assumed that the GC was broken because I have played 5+ whole games with 10 min long quarters without ever taking out the NCAA disk. Then it just suddenly started the black screens. The disc seems clean, but I will wipe it down and give it a try later. Thanks for the the info.

I never regreted my GC purchase. I love Zelda, Metroid, SMB:Melee, and Star Wars Rogue Leader. Someone mentioned Animal Crossing, I played it alot, but once I got the House payed off, than got bored with it. Even the wife quit playing and thats bad cause that all she played. Now she lives in Vice City.

Has to suck for anyone who bought a GC in the past few days

I dedicate 99% of my GC time to NCAA Football 2004. As a HUGE Simpsons fan, I'm debating if I should get Simpsons Hit and Run. Also waiting what seems like forever for Mario Tennis.

Not really. You don't need to be a good salesman if you have enough knowledge. I don't consider myself a good salesman, but I do consider myself to be pretty knowledgable when it comes to computer.s Normally I just tell the truth about each machine they ask about and let them decide what they want rather than "selling the machine."

I'm absolutely satisfied with the Gamecube I got, my favorite of all 3 consoles, and I've played lots and lots of games on all of them.

The new 99$ price tag is a steal, it's too good to pass up. Anyone who does not have a GC must get it NOW!. It has extremely good AAA titles and there's lots more on the horizon. The future titles look awesome, the only downside is that i don't know where I'll get all that money , because I MUST have all of them. :cool:

Maybe being knowledgeable has it's advantages.
You can convince a person to buy a more powerful electronics if you explain to him why it will be better instead of just, it's got 5000 wattts!!!!
