The thing about pindleskin is that while he doesn't drop as many items, he can drop from a higher TC than most other monsters, including Baal. Not to mention that he's incredibaly easy to kill. I've gotten some very nice items off of Pindleskin.

He's saying that no matter how many cheats they try to patch for, some one is going to find another loophole to make a cheat, and that idiots that use cheats are going to find a way regardless.

Which is why I said it's too bad they can't patch it, I already know that there's no way to defeat many forms of cheating currently (bots in diablo 2 cannot be detected, for example). It's a problem that currently players who don't want to cheat must grin and bear. In games like counterstrike I find cheating much more annoying as it affects my ability to win (I can't compete with aimbots or wallhacks), but in a game like diablo 2 online there isn't really any winning involved. It just destroys the economy.

Starcraft maphacks and the like on the other hand are annoying though and they do affect your ability to win... and I believe blizzard has said that other than observing it doesn't have any way to see war3 map hacks does it? At least that's what it was like when the game came out.

Actually this is their 3rd mass banning, and for Diablo 2 I believe it's the smallest.

Besides, as I said I used to do it. I haven't played in Bnet for a long time now. And even before I quited playing there I didn't use any cheats. It was like a temporary excitement. I myself find cheating as a stupid thing to do, but it was just that I got so angry that everyone was all the time hacking and I was the victim. So, I did it myself.

So like people now. They cheat or do wrong and yet they make themselves out to be the victim so they can justify it.

Yeah he can drop good stuff and has good stats... but in practice... Let's just say the Mephisto/Baal/Cow runs let's you have so much stuff that you're muling extra elite uniques. ;)

It sounds like a cheating program, and I am pretty sure that's against the AUP.
