how much memory do the roms take? 120 bucks for a 512mb sd card is pretty expensive.

But cheap for what it is. For instance the cheapest SD card on Newegg is $143.00 and the most expensive is $241.65.Quote:

SNES rom ~ 2mB
Gameboy Advance rom ~ 10mB
SD cards are expensive due to their small size... if you had a PDA with a CF slot, like the asus a620, you can get a 4gb microdrive for $200Quote:

Impressive.
There's no way my PDA would replace my SP though. Doesn't look the most comfortable of hand positions.
OMG! Best game EVER!

NES ROM's are very small, usally < 100K. I have only have this one SNES ROM so far and it is about 400K. Haven't got any PS1 ROMs yet but give me sometime to enjoy what I already have. :) Morphgear works wonderful on my 4155, but I do need to overclock it a bit to get sound to work perfectly. But since I am normally playing in class I don't need sound and there is no need to overclock. It is quite easy to control the games, in fact you can even have a controller be put on the screen and used with touch sensistive buttons. :) Overall, this is probably the worst thing that could happen to my college career.
ohhh nice 4155
i recently upgraded my toshiba e355 to a dell axim x3i... i love the built in wifi

Gameboy Advance games run 60fps with sound!
Yeah, I got built in WiFi too, and bluetooth! You Axim n00bs could only dream of that. Hehe
I don't know where you get your prices.Quote:

http://www.flash-memory-store.com/ibmmicrodrives.html
summary
1GB Microdrive $154.95 after $20 MIR
2.2GB MagicStor (unreliable crap) $214.95
2.0GB Microdrive $338.95
4GB Microdrive (pre order) $488.95
Plus I'd rather have Flash because they are more reliable and take a LOT less power.
Eric
Speaking of memory, does anyone know the difference between a 'MMC' and a 'SD' card, becides the secure part? Are MMC cards faster?

Got a link to a store? I'd be seriously tempted at that price, especially with the exchange rate the way it is at the moment.
