This to me sounds like an accident. The candians were firing in the air (Read this from the torronto star) How are you supposed to know if its intentional or not? simply asnwer, you dont. He was given permission to mark, while marking he mistook friendly candian fire for holy **** these crazy Arabs might be trying to kill me(yeah thats what war is about: peaple killing peaple.) And dropped his payload.

He wasn't being fired upon he just wanted to drop the bomb and be a cowboy.

We listened to the radio transmissions and cockpit recordings of him and his copilots voices. He wasn't in any danger and secounds after dropping his bomb, over the radio came the "negative, friendlies in the area".

Just because you see tracers (in a secured area btw, not a front line) isn't an excuse to drop a bomb.
