You obviously are missing a few playing cards in your deck, so I'll explain it to you :confused:Quote:

When the bencharks are run with both chips in the platform they were designed for (laptops, not both chips tested running in desktop platforms), Dothan gets it's azz spanked silly, making the first part of your statement untrue. I'd say that with the turion winning 17 benches and the dothan winning 11 that it's pretty much the exact opposite. :p
Now onto the power usage of your silly statement:
When running your laptop full out, the dothan beats the turion. At idle the turion beats the dothan.
Once again I'll repeat a quote here hoping that it finally makes it through whatever it is that you call your thick head ;)
"First, the power ratings between Dothan and Turion cannot be directly compared. A lot of people see Dothan's 27W TDP & Turion ML's 35W TDP and assume that Dothan is automatically lower power. Intel computes thermal design power as 75% of the maximum load on the chip, while AMD's TDP rating is derived from the absolute worst case power dissipation of the chip. Part of the total system power is also incorporated into AMD's TDP, as the memory controller is located on-chip. Intel's memory controller is built into the chipset and thus draws power not calculated as part of Dothan's TDP."
Add to that this quote:
"In an ironic twist of fate, the Turion CPU defeats Dothan at its own game. Since the "life" benchmark tests battery life at a mostly idle CPU state, maximum power consumption does not matter. With a 10.5% lead in the life test, the Turion CPU and AMD’s PowerNow! Technology provide a more efficient platform when you consider real world usage."
Which makes both parts of your statement not only untrue, but downright ludicrous.
Come back when you're armed for a discussion. It's no fun discussing with someone that does not come armed with knowledge, wits or a bit of common sense! :p ;)
