I agree with you to a point and it really is nice to have a modded console to play around with. I just don't think BC is as important as everyone makes it out to be.
For you BC sounds very important and i'm sure to a select few it is. But to the masses I don't think that BC is even a selling point in the slightest. I don't hear my casual gaming friends go "man i would get it if the bc was uber perfect". Only us here do that lol and I wouldn't consider us casual.

From what I got from the article I read about that yesterday, they're not just watching Sony, they're watching EVERYBODY closer. Basically, you have to disclose any affiliations you have, if you're an employee of a company you can't just start up a website and start pumping sunshine as though you're just a regular guy.Quote:

I think this move towards cracking down on viral marketing is a good step in the right direction. I kind of like the idea of being able to trust fan boys as fan boys not paid flunkies.
This is one thing that I couldn't care less about to be honest. I've never used backwards compatibility on any system.
