Tell that to my GF2MX  Oh well I should be in the 10K club with my GF4 thoughQuote:

Wow , sorry for being late on this but great job man :)
You should be proud of yourself ;)
in the future whenever ORB is down you can just save the results to a .3dp file (or something like that) and then next time you load up 3dmark just click on "online services" and "submit saved result" - that's probably how most people hack their scores  but it's there to be used, I suppose.
I'll back up Sap's statement about the AGP/PCI buses; my scores go up considerably if I lower the divider on the AGP/PCI buses (raising their speed), but at 130fsb i don't want to run my AGP/PCI buses at something like 43mhz PCI / 86mhz AGP, I did enough of that when I had a 440BX motherboard  :)
Whoa , looks pretty good to me except the super Vcore needed for that :( But its all good ....Quote:
He heh I remember doing that with my Old Asus P2B-F bx board. I loved that thing. Had my AGP and PCI way out of spec lol.
If I had a way of increasing my AGP and PCI, I would. However I dont think my GF4 will work at 100mhz on the AGP. Doubt my PCI would like 50 mhz either. Oh well.
No choice until the T-breds hit the streets.Quote:
The best score by an XP 1900Mhz-2000Mhz is 13752 @189fsb / 1988mhz. I'd imagine he has WC on that rig...no way I'm gonna hit that with air.
I'm installing XP on my new 8K3A+/XP2100+ as we speak, but don't expect any miracles from me he he ;)
Shoot I remember when I ran my P3 700 @ 1.1Ghz on a BX mobo. Can you say 105Mhz agp bus  Of course that mobo only lived 9 months :(Quote:

Bear two things in mind. One is that they did use the mere retail cooler for this. This implies that with a super cooler [e.g. a 7K rpm 60mm fan or something like the AX-7 or Swiftech] you could be hitting those speeds with less voltage and certainly with less temperature. Two is that even at that voltage the cpu is cooler than something like my Tbird 1.4GhzQuote:

I didnt know they used the retail cooler on that , with the knowledge of that I am fairly impressed :) Can you say 2ghz on quiet air cooling from say a Ax7/Panaflo combo ? yummy...:cool:Quote:

I can say 2Ghz from a Tbred 1800+ if you can say 2.4Ghz from a Tbred 2200+Quote:

I just wish thye would hurry up and release it already
Actually they cannot release it just yet. They're having a contest with the nVidia people and their 4200. Winner is the one who releases their product last; its obvious both companies are trying hard to win this one :rolleyes:Quote:

Saps, do these standard CVolts concern you the way they increase so quickly? It almost appears the 2200+ is already starting to max. the core out. Sorry I don't follow the Tbred, but this sure seems like large Core Volt increases for small increases in performance. Any guess on this?Quote:

1.5V - 1700+, 1800+, 1900+
1.6V - 2000+, 2100+
1.65V - 2200+

There's two ways too look at it. One way is to say the Tbred's running at 1.47Ghz-1.6Ghz are running on .25v less than their Palomino brothers. HardOCP also had an article on why AMD did not release a Palomino 2200+ because at one time it was scheduled. The Palomino 2200+ would have had to run on 1.8v yet the yield they were getting was insufficient to justify its release. So the second way to look at these voltage numbers is to say the 2200+ Tbred is running .15v less than its Palomino brother would have and it can be air cooled well over 2Ghz.Quote:

Tbred yields, voltage scaling, and OC ability are not at Northwood's standards but the again they're pretty darn impressive to me. I will say this I won't mind putting 1.95v thru a 1.8Ghz Tbred if my temp is still below 40ºC and I'm hitting 2.3Ghz
Yeah but I think you can wait until someone actually passes you before you go there. While I'll never ever ever underestimate KJY9's ability to go GTN with an OC, this is quite a mark for a XP2100+ to reachQuote:

There's not a 1/5 divider on there?
200mhz fsb should yield a 40mhz PCI and 80mhz AGP, correct? A little bit off, I know. But not absolutely HORRIBLE. Might give it a go, if you have that divider on board.
Else you'd be looking at, what 50/100? most likely NOT going to work. Heh.
Outstanding work, though.

He's running a 151MHz fsb. The memory is running asynchronously at 201/402DDR unless I'm mistaken (my knowledge pool runs shallow when it comes to P4s, and the latest tech.). If it were a 200MHz fsb he would be at 3.2GHz (multiplier is 16, correct?).
75 fps on the nature demo... thats friggin' CRAZY

JuveDuke is correct:)
