I also had no problem with Specs in the Sigs. I have a site so I just link to mine. I thought that was a good idea. That way when I update my rig I only need to update my site not every Sig on Every Forum. If folks don't won't to click a Link to check someones Link thats there problem.. :D

Taz, your one of the few who originally had a spec link rather than in the sig. Besides, with your systems a sig spec might be just a little large :D

Anyhow, I guess people can have any sig they like so long as it is considerate of others.

OK, thats a Baybus I bought from PCMODS The 4 switches control fans and lights in my case. Switch 1 for the 120, 2 for the 2 rear, 3 for the 2 front, & 4 for the lights. They have 2 positions down 7V & up 12V. :)

so theyre always on to some degree?? 7V & 12V
and is that all a bay bus does? (still a n008 trying to learn)

Did you visit the site and read the specs??

Anyone who has added 4 fans to their case quickly realizes that while their case is certainly cooler, they have added one negative element: Noise. The wind noise generated by the fans can become quite aggravating over time.

There is an easy solution. Run the fans at full speed when you are doing CPU intensive tasks. When your system is idle and does not need all that cooling power, run the fans at a slower setting. Enter the Baybus.

Our baybus kit allows you to control the speed of up to four fans. Each switch has three settings: "ON", "OFF" and "Variable speed". The variable speed setting can be adjusted to whatever speed you prefer, making it perfect for reducing noise. So, instead of leaving all 4 fans on all the time, you can instead turn off two and run 2 at a lower speed, cutting down on the noise immensely. The lower speed is set using trimpots so you can choose whatever speed is best for your CPU.

The LEDs are Red (fast speed) and Green (slow speed) and come with Black bezels.

This unit can also be used with lighting solutions, to turn them on our off (running lighting solutions at half power may damage them).

This unit is rated for 6W per switch. Should you need more power than that, we recommend our Rheobus, which is rated for 17W per switch (see link at left).

In order to ensure that you could attach ANY device to this we outfitted it to use bare wire leads. This product works very well with our Panaflo fans (see "related products" in the left NAV bar) as they come with bare wire leads.

Installation is simple and quick, requiring a few holes to be drilled in your 5 1/4 inch faceplate. By using your own faceplate, the baybus integrates into your case seamlessly, especially if you have Drilling template provided to ensure that all holes are drilled perfectly even.

Specifications:
Rated for fans up to 6 watts per switch
90 day warranty (exceeding watts per switch will void your warranty)
Printed Circuit board eliminates wiring mess
Drill Template ensures proper installation
Unit comes with a molex splitter, and "adds its own connection" in your case

Gateway your Sig isn't that long, its fine with me. When I started this thread I was talking about SIGS that where Long (25+lines). I was just noticing like some other folks that more people where doing that and was pointing it out.

Not pointing any fingers here, so noone take this personally or anything, but I think it's pretty lame to gripe about having to scroll a few more lines, just because someone wants a 10 line sig. Unless they are filling my whole screen then it's really not a big deal. Considering we have no OT forum here, our sigs are a good place to express our individuality. Whether it's a a bunch of fav links, system specs, or whatever, I'd rather deal with the extra finger work than make a big stink and oppress somebody elses freedom.

Personally, I like a relatively small sig to respect the people that don't want to scroll two pages down, but that's just me. (It would actually be smaller if I could make that fixed-width font small... but I just don't want to lose my head! no pun intended... really)

But here we go again... sacrificing freedom for a little bit of comfort :rolleyes:

Don't lose your Head I like it. I don't understand why you state that we are oppressing somebody else's freedom. This thread was started to point out the Long Sigs and would hopefully get some folks to shorten them a little. Nobody said the had to or else your banned. Now that would be oppression. Those are some strong accusations (Oppress, Sacrifice Freedom) I do respect your 2 cents worth but I don't see how you came to that conclusion. Just my 2 cents...:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I still get annoyed when people make a big deal out of someones sig (which they have), but like you said it's not like anyone is being forced to change them...
