One reason why it's more expensive is that it has an scsi controller. But I don't see any scsi components in your parts list, so you will not even be using it.Quote:

I just tend to go with stuff that is known well and tested, I doubt there is anyone else on this forums that has that board, so if it had problems, we might not know about them. I didn't realize it had SCSI, Do they make any really fast SCSI CD-RW/DVD drives? Are you going to put your raptors in Raid 0?Quote:

The whole way you're approaching this is wrong. You're just adding more crap (the SCSI controller in this case) into the box needlessly. The more stuff you cram in there the more the chance that you'll run into problems. Just keep it simple.Quote:
