Just wanted everyone to know that in another thread, Jaybag called in and confirmed the product and price and they said everything is correct. Looks we just got on helluva deal on a badass vid card.

SWEET!!!! Now I will have a 9800 pro in my primary rig and a 9700 pro in my secondary rig. Can't wait to kick that 5600u to the curb. :D Thanks for the update AutomaticErik!Quote:

No prob...now I only wish I would have ordered like 10 of them to make some mad profits on eBay
I wish they were still selling them at Circuit City for $250+, then I would exchange it for a 9800 pro @$299...actual cash out $165 for a 9800 pro.Quote:

You never know...they might get some more back in stock. I doubt, but I can always be a wishful thinker. I might end up going for some 9700np cards on there for sale on eBay. Not as much profit per card but still a little bit extra.
who are going to sell one 9700p for me for $130 ??
=)
10 would have been nice, however it is so hard to trust a price like that! At least ordering 1 or 2 you can recover from if anything goes wrong :) Although I am trying not to get my hopes up until I have it in my hand.:pQuote:

True, I will only fully believe this deal once one of has the card in hand. According to their site, that should be end of this or early next week.
Nevermind! I thought I saw a 9800pro on there for like 138... was I smoking or did they get rid of it?

Do you think it is odd that they seem to be the only retailer with 9700np's in stock??? Even ebay doesn't have any of those for sale, how do these guys? Pricewatch has nothing either.Quote:

I might make a trip over to reseller ratings if I don't get what was advertised...
I haven't received an email yet so maybe I'll get lucky. But then again, I probably won't. Might pick up a 9700np instead...we'll see. I'd be willing to bet that they do have these in stock but they incorrectly marked the price. Now they're saying they're out of stock so they don't have to honor the orders.
EDIT: Another reason to believe the above notes. The confirmation email said they would notify you if they were backordered but instead they just cancelled the order completely. Seems a little fishy to me.
thats what im thinking too... im actually expecting another email probably saying the np are out of stock tooQuote:

OK, I just got my email stating that their "stock has been depleted and they will be unable to get any more Radeon 9700 pros at that price"...guess it was too good to be true after all.:p
Ok, now this has become just downright strange...I just recieved an email from Fed-Ex stating that Z-Buy.com has sent me a package. WTH is going on with these guys?
I don't know, but from the sounds of it I won't be doing business with them ever.
Well you may just want to thank your lucky stars!? :D That is strange though. Did u get a tracking number? Good luck hope it works out for you. I haven't received my "we regret to inform you" letter yet.Quote:
