$4 for xbox live that you can play any game you want on that supports online gaming, or $20 to play one online game. If pc gaming is your thing, why even bother yourself w/ xbox?

I like the LIVE concept but you can't beat free no matter how much sugar coating there is. On the PC side, you mostly have publishers dealing with the online aspect. With LIVE, it feels like an AIM/MSN layer running behind your games which is great. I think it's a a fair price to pay for such a polished service. WE'll have to see how PSN delivers its service. If they can match LIVE then I'll change my tune. It may be even better with HOME which really does intrigue the hell out of me.
