You can but Blizzard mentioned missing out on some major features by doing so. I'm not sure what these features are, it might just be something like achievements, but if you're missing out on actual major gameplay points then that is poo.Quote:

Great times. But for some reason, I'm just not all that hyped about SC 2 at all.
Like Kama, I'm afraid I've just moved on from that style. That's not to say I won't be buying it when it drops in price, but there have been sooooo many great strategy games since that have taken the genre in new and deeper directions, I'm worried how much I'll be able to really appreciate the game, outside of pure nostalgia and excellent balance.

I plan to pick it up when it goes on sale. I really only want to play the single player campaign because I like the story. other then that, MP holds little to no interest for me.
I only want to play the single player game too cause most of the fun I had with SC1 came from single player and use map settings game "mods" in multiplayer.
However, I am NOT paying $50-$60 for a THIRD of the game.
So, I will probably pick it up in a few years when they do a battle chest release of the whole game.
Blizzard is incredibly greedy.
I was not pathetic enough for a midnight release. But Amazon delivery with same day release works for me! Already here!
I want to play the SP, but 60 bucks is a lot for that game. I'm going to wait it out for a while.
It is a little on the pricey side. However the price is not to bad, as it is about 1 hour of work. So I think it is fare to some extent. Stupid Activision/Blizzard for the $60 price instead of $50.

A friend gave me a trial CD for it, but it says its for 7 hours of game time. Not nearly what I was expecting, I assumed it would be for 14 days.

Well the main draw of the game is multiplayer where u can still use all three races and the single campaigns are suppose to be as long as the original SC1 campaign, but still I think its outrageous. I guess I wouldnt be as outraged if I got the game for multiplayer only like most do, but I only really wanted it for single player.Quote:
