So yeah the game...feels jittery even if I turn everything to low. I checked the forums and I'm wondering if this is the lag issue people are talking about.
Mine doesn't feel jittery. I wouldn't describe it like that. Frame rate wise mine is wicked fast and liquid smooth, even maxed out, but I do experience lag at times. It's just like FPS lag where you jump back to a previous spot you were at. It's like I'm running in 1 direction, then I immediately skip back a few yards, rubberbanding. I've even had it lag so bad at 1 time where for over a full minute I couldn't pick up any items. It was like the game map was completely disjointed from me. I would run over gold and click it and stuff but couldn't pick it up. Then it caught up and suddenly I had all the items.
I only played for about an hour, just some single player campaign, but I did encounter these lag issues a couple times.
This is probably why they are asking 100,000 more people to join. They need to get the lag issues dealt with. Its going to be a hard pill to swallow if the game is released with SINGLE PLAYER internet lag.

Played all the characters to level 6. So far my favs are the barb and demon hunter. The bard just feels powerful and the attack synergy is really smooth. Same for the demon hunter which has some great ranged and evasive moves. The witch docotr is pretty interesting with some ranged/controller stuff that makes for a crazy chracter. I can see it being a fun class to play.
That said, I find the sorcerer pretty lacking and the monk awkward. I get the feeling both are more support focused and really shine with a party. Solo, however, I got bored with with pretty fast. The female monk is also kinda *****.

I pretty much agree with your analysis. I think there will be a ton of Demonhunters and Barbs rolling around with hardly any sorcerers or witch doctors and very few monks once people get their initial monk fix.
Wish they'd invite me already. :(
