Straight up hobbes. I wouldn't even try to earn any respect as a mod without several K under my belt. Sure I could do it well, but not now. Not going to happen, not overnight.
I am not trying to become a mod to "earn any respect", I am not even Trying to become a mod. I am just saying that if people here feel that part of the problem is the lack of mods, then a logical conclusion would be to make more mods. As posted in another topic here, it might be a good idea to make something like an mini-mod, that can just help sweep up here and there.
I have a lot of work to do as a student, and by am not able to sit down and spend 8 hrs a day reading posts. Over the summer, that was a different story, I just left a browser window open while my tests ran.
I agree with whoever said that we do not need lots of people running around as mod, just to be a mod. One other thing that I try to remember is that post count doesn't mean everything! Remember OT? Well I don't, I was coming through the in door as it was going out. My post count might reflect a max of 10 OT (official OT) posts. We do, however, have lots of people running around here with posts that were just racked up talking about which movie they were going to see, and how cool some new car was, etc. While some people here have a post count that reflects their contribution, many do not.
