It doesn't control your fans, they are two totally different programs. I just like Coolmon because it's clean looking, out of the way, and shows me the stuff I like to know:)

Coolmon is a cool program. Though it has gotten in the way of NFS:U, which is kind of annoying. But other than that its great. :)
