Congrats on the great score Eshbach :D :D I hope you can push a little more out of her yet cause it looks like it's going to be a close battle between a few of us. I got my rig up and running this weekend after yet another dissaster (blew up another 9800 pro). It looks like the mushkin is going to make a pretty good difference and i have scored 23885 so far with lower clocks on the 9800. Too bad this 9800 is not as good as my last one. The best I have been able to get out of it so far is 495/370 :( Oh well I think I can find a few hundred points with a fresh install and some tweaks. BTW what drivers is everybody using these days with the 9800's?

But good luck on the fresh install... Did you vmod the video card/ mobo/ anything?
nope no vmods...it was just a stupid accident on the old 9800...damn that sucker did 520/400 without vmods. With that card I would be at 24.5 right now. This new one sucks :(
What are the hot drivers right now Cman? I also see people with ATI seem to be scoring better with 3dmark2001 build 340, any truth to that?
01 doesn't have build 340, only 03 does ;)

I didnt test anything after 3.8 I believe... It was just a stock run with different drivers...
I am curious as to what 3.10 is...
I havent even downloaded the newer patch... Nor has Futuremark software been loaded on my PC in the last few formats :)
But I was getting an itch....

But between you and me, the vdimm mod is a lot safer and could offer a lot more in return. :D
my cpu tops out at 2.44ghz, and i'll be getting pc4200 ram, so vdimm mod might not be needed. the radeon is really holding me back (with 500/400, i'd be unstoppable) so i think i will just have to muster up some courage and take my chances.
