If you go 2 gigs of ram Ocz's EB 4000 overclock well (for a 2 gig set) --that is
if you can find them..
As far as 2 Gtx's you might look at Evga or Bfg.
Cya on aim.
Well, got both vidcards fired up tonight for the first time and had some pretty good initial runs.

Just playing around with old hardware. I didnt care to max out my cpu since it doesnt matter much in 05.
That 440/370 is stock cooler and zero artifacts as I watched it.
Update:

Any of your parts show up yet??? Don't forget, we'd like to see plenty of pics during the build up! P.S. Try to be sober when you do this build, on good behavior too :DQuote:

Well DC is a little different then 500Mhz difference.. Well duh! Since its basically 2x as fast.. Double the Mhz available if the game/benchmark was programmed to take advantage. But 500Mhz in 05 is like 150-180 points. Like I said means nada.Quote:

I'll get around to newer benchys later, congrats to you guys getting a score like that in 3dm'03!
You guys better watch it NON SLI PPL :p :D I have my new Opteron and my X1800XT on the way :p :D
Oh crap! Does that mean more work for me? Just kidding, just bench away and post your scores......btw, r'aggro, do you wanna insert your '01 score? Let me know, and do post your specs in the proper format. ;)Quote:

I got an extra 100 points in 2k5 but I'm not posting anything yet because my phase change setup is getting close :D I also have a volt mod planned for my x800. Really I was close to hitting the trigger on an x1800xl as well but new cards care going to be out in January.
BTW Guys Windows XP and and win 2k do not have a difference any more, matter of fact Win XP has the edge. I will do more testing and let you guys know :D
Rock on dude! I'm sure you can do better with that Opty and 16 pipe GTO2, are you gonna join the team? Just let me know when you're done benching... ;)Quote:

My Opty idles at about 28-30C on stock cooler and 40C at load, so I have lots of head room.
I might skip the current setup results when I move to phase change. And wait until there is a X1900 installed ;)
