As ewitte's pointed out, some are single core. Guys, if you're using an Opty, please indicate whether it dual/single core, I'm afraid I ain't too familiar with Opties..... :oQuote:

Not to shabby bro! Why is the published check box greyed out?
i don't think the '01 orb has been updated to accept the x1900 scores yet... it should simply be a matter of time until i can publish those.
Ah ok :)
How are you liking the x1900?

If anyone cares to benchmark old cards :P Here is what I discovered...
A64 3500+ @ stock -- ATI 9800Pro @ stock -- Corsair PC3500 512MBx2 2-3-3-7 (Stock timing) -- Windows 2000SP4 -- DX8.1
Catalyst 5.01 -- 22,417
Catalyst 5.02 -- 22,482
Catalyst 5.04 -- 22,319
Catalyst 5.06 -- 22,258
Catalyst 5.08 -- 22,055
Catalyst 5.11 -- 21,953
Catalyst 6.01 -- 22,057
I find it rather interesting and I was to lazy to try any others... But I remember there was this website that did a benchmark of quite a few Catalyst drivers and posted their benchmark score. I cant seem to locate that review. :/
best cats for 9800's are the 3.2's. always have been, always will be. they stop optimizing drivers for older cards after a while.Quote:

2k1 was up until recently doing that for my dual core. The only way I got it to publish was to check affinity and bind to 1 CPU. Installing the M$ hotfix and registry hack fixed it.Quote:

if you weren't running windows 2000 and dx 8.1 then 3.2 is probably not the best.Quote:

Nooooooo! lol :p :D Good job on the score. I figured I'm in no position to even compete with you guys, but you just wait till I go for my 1st ever upgrade which won't be very soon but it'll happen one day. :DQuote:
